MGEN is the historic mutuelle (top-up health insurance) of teachers and staff of the Éducation Nationale (French Ministry of Education). It also manages the compulsory and supplementary schemes.

MGEN is mainly for staff of the Éducation Nationale, Higher Education and Culture. Some members can add their family.
Does MGEN manage my Sécurité Sociale?
Yes, for Éducation Nationale civil servants, MGEN can manage both the compulsory scheme (Sécurité Sociale, French public health insurance) and the complementary health insurance.
How do I download my MGEN mutuelle certificate?
On mgen.fr, in 'Mes documents' (My documents) in your personal area. The certificate can be sent by email or post on request.
